The Smokies is a tough market these days. In a sea of dated wood cabins, and emerging “modern cabin” remodels, we dared to be different. A romantic escape for couples- moody, cozy, inviting, luxurious- with a touch of rock and roll thrown in for good measure.

In this market, it’s not only the design style that needs to stand out. The amenities are also critical. This project included expending the deck, adding a sauna with a panoramic view window, creating a fireplace nook on the deck, and improving the visual impact of the existing hot tub area by adding a privacy wall and an outdoor movie setup.

In addition to creating a unique escape that is unlike anything else around it, this house is also wheelchair friendly- with a ramp, roll in shower, grab bars, bench, and a beautiful 36 inches of clearance everywhere in the property, this is an experience that everyone can enjoy.
